  PETAR BOJANIĆ

Executive Director 

Principal Research Fellow and Director at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory (Belgrade). He received his PhD from the EHESS (France) and University of Paris X in 2003. Bojanić taught at the University of Cornell (USA), University of Aberdeen (Scotland), University of Torino and the University of Belgrade. The author of numerous books on political philosophy. The last book Violence et messianisme (2015) was published by Vrin in Paris and Mimesis International in Milan.

Vladan Djokic

  VLADAN ĐOKIĆ

Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, and Professor in the field of Urban Design and Urban Morphology at the University of Belgrade.

Actively engaged in urban design and urban planning in Serbia, he received several national and international awards for his work. Editor of the SAJ (Serbian Architecture Journal) and the author and editor of a variety of books and articles from the domain of urbanism, architecture and philosophy.

Sanja Bojanic

  SANJA BOJANIĆ

Following the completion of philosophy studies in Belgrade, she continues PhD studies at the University of Paris 8 engaging in comparative literature, gender studies and gender differences, as well theories of media and new technologies. Translator from the French and English, the author of articles on the work of Hélène Cixous published in Serbian and French, as well as articles about homosexuality and queer issues.

She has taught at the University of Paris 8 and University of Aberdeen (Scotland) and currently teaches at the University of Rijeka (Croatia).

  JELENA ĆERIMAN

Jelena Ceriman obtained her Master degree in 2006 at the department of Sociology in the University of Belgrade. She is currently working on her thesis “Gender socialization of boys in families of contemporary Serbia – research the values and upbringing practices of fathers and mothers” at the same university. She is engaged in different projects dealing with adults, youth and children education and social inclusion. Also, she is active in several civil society organizations engaged with public policies development.

Gazela Pudar Drasko

  GAZELA PUDAR DRAŠKO

Research Associate at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade. She received her PhD at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, working on the themes of nationalism and intellectual engagement. Gazela Pudar Draško is actively involved into the policy research and activities of the civil society sector in Serbia, but also in the SEE region. She was engaged as consultant/researcher in numerous projects with international organizations and national think tanks.

Field of interest: political sociology, social engagement, youth studies, gender.

  VERICA PAVIĆ ZENTNER

 Social, qualitative and quantitative research methods are her main interests. She is experienced in doing focus groups, in-depth interviews, ethnographic research, semiotics, linguistic validation, online research, qualitative text analysis, action research, statistical analysis, and triangulations with different quantitative models… and quantitative research in its original form (and a lot coming from the originality of good research partnerships). She is interested in deeper understanding of methodologies and their practical possibilities as well as development of methodological approaches and expanding possibilities of social research in market and science research fields.

Edward Djordjevic

  EDWARD ĐORĐEVIĆ

He studied philosophy and comparative literature at Fordham University in New York City. He spent a semester studying literary theory at Université de Paris VII – Denis Diderot. His interests include Hegel, Marxism, Existentialist philosophy and cultural history. He translates academic and literary texts.

  MIRJANA NEĆAK

She is a researcher with focus on qualitative research. The subjects she deals with are in the field of marketing, advertising, alternative youth culture and communication on the internet. She has been observing the alternative youth culture in Serbia and for the last 10 years dealing with research and organizing events that promote the participation of young people. The target group she works with most is young people who live alternative lifestyles in relation to the cultural mainstream. She is the creator and organizer of the J – Highschool festival. She has experience in online qualitative research and is interested in developing and improving the online qualitative methodologies and techniques.
